No. You pay Avana no commission, no booking fees and no setup fee. When a member pays online, a small booking fee is part of the price they see from the start: 3%, at least $1.99 and at most $2.79. Classes booked with a pack or membership cost the member nothing extra.
Yes. Avana runs month to month, with no annual contract and no exit fee. After you cancel, everything keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for. You start with a 7-day free trial and only pay if you stay.
Avana imports your members and their remaining credit from a CSV or Excel export of your current system, and we help you for free. Each member gets a pack with the classes they had left and its expiry date, and carries on booking straight away.
You choose how many hours before class a member can cancel without losing it. Cancel in time and the class goes back on their pack, and the first person on the waitlist is offered the spot; if they don't take it, it moves on to the next. A late cancellation counts as used.
Yes, with Studio Max you sell a course or block: a set group books and pays for every session in one go, with a cap on the number of places. Each session appears on your schedule straight away and everyone gets a reminder; anyone joining later simply buys a pack.
Yes, with Studio Plus you share a pack or membership between two members, such as a pair training for doubles. Both book from the same credit and you see who used which session. A rule on the pack can limit the number of sessions per week.
Yes, with Studio Max you set a goal per member, such as a faster time on the rower, with steps and measurements. The member completes a short check-in each week and sees the plan in the app, and you see how each member is getting on.
Can't see your question? Just ask us. We'll help you set up your schedule, packs and members for free.
Avana plans your HYROX sessions the way they really run: a group alternating between running and stations, with a coach keeping an eye on everyone. There are only so many sleds, rowers and wall balls on the floor. So software for a HYROX gym mainly has to keep each group full without people standing idle next to a station.
Each session is set up once in Avana, with a name, a length, a level, a coach and a maximum number of places. You choose that maximum based on the kit on your floor. A weekly session is placed months ahead, and an extra session on Saturday goes in on its own.
Members see who each session is for: beginner, some experience, advanced or all levels. Someone just starting picks a steadier group, while a member who has already raced joins the fast one. When a session is full, a member can join the waitlist.
Lots of members train for a fixed date. With Studio Max you sell a block for it: a number of sessions that belong together, booked and paid for by one group in one go. You choose the cap and the date sign-ups close. Canceling a single session from the block doesn't give credit back.
A pair training for doubles can share one pack or membership on Studio Plus. Both book from the same credit, and you see who used which session.
Members who come three times a week take a membership charged to their card each month. Those who come less often buy a pack with an expiry date you set. A new member buys one trial session and picks a slot on the schedule straight away.
On Studio Plus you put rules on a pack or membership, such as at most three sessions a week, or a lower price for off-peak hours. Set a minimum term or notice period yourself, and pause a membership if a member is away for a while.
First-timers often have no idea yet how a sled push feels. So put a beginners' group on the schedule at a steadier pace, and let newcomers start there with a trial session. On Studio Plus that member gets a welcome after their first session, and with one session left on the pack, a nudge to buy the next.
If someone stays away for a few weeks, Avana invites them on Studio Plus to book again. With refer-a-friend, a member brings a training partner through their own link: the friend gets a discount and your member gets sessions added to their credit.
Every coach has a profile and sees in the app which members are in the group. On Studio Plus you tick off who is there, and absentees are marked as no-shows, with each member's card showing how often that happened in recent months. If a coach can't make it, one message finds cover, and members see who is leading the session.
With a few coaches on the team, Avana tracks the sessions and hours each one delivered, cover included. You use that overview for paying them, which you do yourself.
If people also train with you through ClassPass or Wellhub, you hold a few spots per session for them on Studio Plus. There's no automatic link: you enter those bookings by hand or import the platform's CSV export, and they count towards your cap so the group never gets overcrowded. See ClassPass and Wellhub spots.
If an employer wants to pay for a team's training, you set up a corporate membership on Studio Max. The company gets one invoice a month, and the employees book like any other member.
Check for commission, the contract and how easily members book. Avana takes no commission, can be canceled any month, and members book the browser or the app without a password. Each plan's monthly cost is a short scroll up. Coming from another system? We transfer your members and their remaining sessions for free, including from Mindbody.
Coach bootcamp and HIIT or personal training next to HYROX? It all sits on the same schedule, with the same members. All types of studio are side by side under studio software.
Avana handles the schedule, booking, payments and messages to your members. Race results stay in your own tool, and members register for the race itself with the organizer. Avana is independent software and has no connection with HYROX. A goal, check-ins and a plan per member come with coaching on Studio Max, so you know exactly what to expect.
A good booking system for a HYROX gym holds a cap per session that matches your stations, lets members book with a pack or membership and refills a cancellation from a waitlist. Avana does that from $22.99 a month, tax included, with no commission and a 7-day free trial.
On Studio Max you sell a course or block: a set group books and pays for every session at once, with a cap and a closing date for sign-ups. Members register for the race itself with the organizer; Avana runs the sessions leading up to it.
No, Avana doesn't record race times or results. On Studio Max you can set a goal per member with check-ins and a plan, and Avana runs the schedule, booking, payments, waitlist, reminders and attendance.
