No. You pay Avana no commission, no booking fees and no setup fee. When a member pays online, a small booking fee is part of the price they see from the start: 3%, at least $1.99 and at most $2.79. Classes booked with a pack or membership cost the member nothing extra.
Yes. Avana runs month to month, with no annual contract and no exit fee. After you cancel, everything keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for. You start with a 7-day free trial and only pay if you stay.
Avana imports your members and their remaining credit from a CSV or Excel export of your current system, and we help you for free. Each member gets a pack with the classes they had left and its expiry date, and carries on booking straight away.
You choose how many hours before class a member can cancel without losing it. Cancel in time and the class goes back on their pack, and the first person on the waitlist is offered the spot; if they don't take it, it moves on to the next. A late cancellation counts as used.
Yes. You sell a pack with an expiry date you choose, plus single sessions. A membership with a set number of sessions a month, or unlimited, is charged to the member's card every month, and all of that comes with every plan.
Yes, Studio Plus lets you sell day and week passes. Someone who wants to train once buys a pass themselves and books a session straight away. A pass can start at the first session, so nobody loses a day.
Yes, you mark a session as canceled with a short reason, such as a thunderstorm. Every booked member immediately gets an email and the session back on their pack or as credit, and the waitlist for that session is cleared automatically.

Avana runs a bootcamp the way it actually works: a regular group, a regular spot and a trainer who turns up whatever the weather. You train in a park or on a field, or indoors with HIIT in short, hard rounds, with a cap you choose. So bootcamp software mostly has to keep track of who is coming, who has paid and who needs a message when a session is off.
Your sessions come back on the same days every week, often early in the morning or after work. In Avana you set up a session once, with a name, a length, a level, a trainer and a cap, and Avana fills the schedule months ahead. An extra session or a make-up date goes in separately on a date you pick. Whether you train twenty people or fifty, you set the cap, up to 200 per session.
Your group knows where to find you, but a newcomer doesn't. The reminder that goes out the day before includes the time, the address and what to bring, such as a mat or a bottle of water. At the spot you tick off who is there in one tap; anyone who doesn't show is marked as a no-show and the session counts as used.
Most bootcamps run on a monthly membership: a set number of sessions a month or unlimited, charged automatically, and a member can cancel up to the end of the month they've paid for. For people who drop in now and then you sell a pack, and every member can buy one trial session.
Training outside means the weather sometimes decides. With a thunderstorm or high winds you want to reach your group fast, without messaging everyone one by one. In Avana you call the session off with a reason, and each member gets an email and the session back on their pack or as credit.
Look at commission, the contract and how members book. Avana takes no commission, can be canceled monthly, and your group books in the browser without an app, signing in with a code by email. The monthly cost of each plan is on this page. Moving from another system? We help you bring your members and their remaining sessions across for free.
Teach indoor classes as well, such as Pilates or barre? They go on the same schedule. For the full picture, see studio software.
At a bootcamp some members train three times a week and others whenever they can. In Avana you sell both: a pack with an expiry date of your choosing, and a membership charged every month. With Studio Plus you add rules, such as at most two sessions a week, or daytime sessions only at a lower price.
A minimum term or notice period goes under More settings. If a member is away for a month, you pause their membership.
Many trainers coach one-to-one alongside the bootcamp. With Studio Plus, private and duet sessions live in the same system. Each trainer sets when they're available, and a member picks a time in the coming weeks and pays straight away. Group sessions and personal training then sit together, with the same members and the same payments.
Plenty of trainers run HIIT in a hall as well as the outdoor bootcamp. In Avana a HIIT session is set up like any other, with its own name, level and cap, on the same schedule as your bootcamp. Members book both with the same pack or membership.
Train in two parks, or on the beach and in a hall? On Studio Plus you add those locations. Each session appears at the right place on your schedule, and every email to members carries the right address.
An employer who wants their staff to get moving can pay for their memberships with Studio Max, and receives a single invoice from you each month. You add the company once with its name and billing address and put the employees under it. For you it's one company paying monthly; for the staff it's an ordinary membership. More on corporate memberships.
A bootcamp lives on a group that trains together. When a session is full, a member joins the waitlist, and if someone cancels in time, the spot passes to whoever is waiting, on every plan including Studio. You choose how far ahead someone can cancel at no cost, and members see that window when they book.
Cancel too late or don't turn up, and the session comes off the pack. On Studio Plus you tick off who is there and see how often each member stayed away. Already on Mindbody? Read how switching from Mindbody works.
A practical bootcamp booking system lets your group book with a pack or membership, holds a cap per session and messages everyone when a session is off. Avana does that from $22.99 a month, tax included, with no commission, on your phone and theirs.
Mark the session as canceled with a short reason. Everyone booked gets an email and the session back on their pack straight away, and the waitlist for it is cleared, so nobody stands in the rain for nothing.
Yes. With Studio Plus, a member picks a time for a private or duet session when a trainer is free and pays immediately. Your group sessions sit on the same schedule, with the same members, payments and reminders.
