Avana Studio is studio software for multiple locations and rooms on one schedule in the US. Rooms are never double-booked, members filter by location, and every email shows the right address; this comes with Studio Plus and Studio Max. Studio costs $22.99 a month, Studio Plus $45.99 and Studio Max $80.99, all tax included, with 0% commission, no setup fee and a 7-day free trial.

The right address

Every member turns up at the right door

The confirmation and the reminder show the name and address of that class's location under Where. Nobody cycles across town to your other studio by mistake.

  • Name and address in every confirmation
  • And again in the reminder before class
  • Also when a waitlist spot opens up

One schedule

Members pick their location above the schedule

Once you have two locations, a row appears above the schedule on your page with All locations and each site separately. A member taps theirs and only sees the classes there.

  • The location name next to every class
  • A class page shows its location at the top
  • The same row on your own schedule
Never double-booked

Two classes in one room at once can't happen

Set up your rooms once. If you put a class in a room that's already in use at that time, Avana doesn't save it and shows you which class is there, on which day and at what time.

  • A class that starts right after another is fine
  • A canceled class doesn't count
  • Regular classes far ahead count too
Spots per room

A class always fits its room

Give each room a number of places and what's in it, such as reformers, mats or bikes. A class in that room can never have more spots, so you never have more members than the room can take.

  • Reformer, mat, barre, bike, machine or spot
  • New spots are named after what's in the room
  • Members pick their spot on the map
Passes per location

A day pass for one location, or all of them

If you sell day or week passes, choose whether each pass works everywhere or only at the locations you pick. You can sell a pass for your busiest site without tracking anything extra.

  • Valid everywhere, or only where you choose
  • At booking, only a pass valid there counts
  • Day and week passes come with Studio Plus
Growing without retyping

When a room moves, its classes go with it

Choose a different location for a room and its classes, with all their upcoming dates, move along.Members see the change straight away on the schedule and in their emails.

  • Classes and regular slots move with the room
  • Past classes keep their original location
  • Typed your rooms in by hand before? Convert them with one click
On Studio Plus

Your second location is set up in minutes

Add its name and address and choose where your rooms are. Members carry on booking, at whichever site suits them.

Good to know

How locations and rooms fit together

You set it up once. After that, every class, email and member knows where to be.

  • Your studio's address is your main locationAdd the other places you teach, each with its own name and address.
  • A class sits at its room's locationIf a class has no fixed room, you pick the location yourself.
  • With one location, nothing changesThe location row only appears from two sites. Your schedule, page and emails stay as they are.
  • Rooms and locations come with Studio Plus and Studio MaxOnly you, as the owner, can add a location.

Multiple location questions

What studio owners ask about locations and rooms

Can I manage several studio locations on one schedule with Avana?

Yes. Next to your studio's address you add extra locations, each with a name and address. All your classes sit on one schedule, and members choose their location above it. Multiple locations come with Studio Plus and Studio Max.

How do I stop a room in my studio being double-booked?

Set up your rooms and assign one to each class. If a class is already in that room at that time, Avana won't save the new one and shows you which class is there. A class that starts straight after, or one that's canceled, doesn't count.

Do members get the right address when I teach at several locations?

Yes. Confirmations and reminders show the name and address of that class's location under Where, and a class page shows its location at the top. Every member ends up in the right place.

What changes if I only have one location?

Nothing. The location row only appears once you have two. Your schedule, studio page and emails stay exactly as they are, though on Studio Plus you can still set up rooms so they're never double-booked.

Can I set a maximum number of spots per room?

Yes, give a room a number of places and what's in it, such as reformers, mats or bikes. A class in that room can never have more spots. Rooms come with Studio Plus and Studio Max.

Can members use one class pack at all my locations?

Yes, by default a pack or membership covers all your classes at every location. To limit a pack to certain classes, choose them on the pack. Day and week passes can also be tied to particular locations.

More about multiple locations

How do you run a studio with several locations or rooms?

Avana is studio software that puts all your locations and rooms on one schedule, with no double-booked rooms and the right address in every email. A second site or an extra room is a big step: more classes, more members and more revenue. It also makes the admin harder. Two schedules side by side, a member at the wrong door, or two instructors wanting the same room at once. With the right system you barely notice.

When a second room or site pays off

The best reason for more space is a schedule that's already full. If your evening classes have a waitlist every week, there's demand you're turning away. Look at where members come from, too. If a good share travel from the other side of town, a second site closer to them may earn more than another class at your current address.

Start small. A second room at your own address is often an easier step than a second building. And a regular class in a school hall, community center or park can already be a second location, without the rent of a full studio.

One schedule, or one per location?

Plenty of studios with two addresses run two separate schedules, sometimes in two different systems. It looks tidy but doubles your work. A member with a pack wants to book at both, and you want to see your whole week at once.

So choose one schedule where every class knows where it is. Members filter by their own site, and you see everything together or by location. In Avana, from two locations onwards, a row with All locations and each site appears above the schedule on your page and on your own view. Read more about the online class schedule.

Setting up rooms: what to watch for

A room is more than a name. It holds a set number of people and has equipment in it: reformers, mats, bikes or a barre. Record that once, so a class in that room never gets more spots than exist.

The biggest risk with two rooms is a double booking: a regular class you set up months ago and a workshop you're squeezing in now. In Avana a class in an occupied room won't save, and you see straight away what's there. A class that starts right after is fine. With reformers or bikes in fixed places, Studio Max also lets members pick their spot on a map of the room.

The address: a small mistake with big consequences

A member at the wrong location misses the class and goes home disappointed, even though it wasn't your fault. Make sure the address is right in three places: on the class on your page, in the booking confirmation and in the reminder before class.

Avana handles that for you. Every class knows its location, and member emails show that location's name and address under Where. If a room moves to another site, its classes and upcoming dates go with it.

How it works by type of studio

A reformer studio often has a reformer room and a smaller room for mat and privates. A yoga studio with two addresses in the same city wants members to book both with one pack. A bootcamp trains in several parks, each with its own meeting point. A dance studio runs several rooms at once. In every case the same things help: one schedule, rooms that are never double-booked and an address that's right in every email.

What studio owners search for about multiple locations

Which booking software works for a multi-location studio?

One with a single schedule where every class knows its location, so members choose by site and get the right address. Avana does this on Studio Plus and Studio Max, with rooms that are never double-booked and one member list for every location.

How do you stop a room being double-booked?

Record your rooms and let the system check availability. In Avana a class in an occupied room won't save, and you see which class is already there, even regular classes far in the future.

Can members train at two locations on one membership?

Yes, a pack or membership covers all your locations by default, because everything is on one schedule. To limit a pack, pick the classes on it; on Studio Plus a day or week pass can be tied to chosen sites.
