Cookie notice

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels, third-party scripts and your browser's local storage, and this notice covers them too.

On your first visit we ask whether we may use cookies for statistics and advertising. You can accept, decline, or choose per category. Until you choose, or if you decline, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Meta and Google Ads do not load. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the site cannot work without them.

Strictly necessary. Signing in and your session, security, your language (avana_lang) and your cookie choice (av_consent, in local storage, 6 months). If you reach a booking page through the booking button in Google Search or Google Maps, we keep a _rwgToken cookie for 30 days so Google knows whether the button led to a booking; no name or contact details are sent with it.

Statistics (only if you accept).

• Google Analytics 4: pages visited and how you arrived. Cookies _ga and _ga_*, up to 2 years.
• Microsoft Clarity: how visitors click and scroll on our marketing pages, never in the app or on booking and payment pages. Cookies _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day).
• PostHog: which steps you take on the site and when signing up, with a cookie and local storage (ph_*_posthog, up to 1 year) and session recordings with anything you type hidden. Without your consent, PostHog only measures anonymously, without storing anything on your device and without recordings.

Advertising (only if you accept).

• Meta Pixel: measures visits and sign-ups from our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Cookies _fbp and _fbc, up to 3 months.
• Google Ads through Google Tag Manager: measures sign-ups from our Google ads. Cookies such as _gcl_au, up to 3 months.

Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" personal information under California law. Declining them, or withdrawing consent, opts you out. See our privacy policy.

Our mobile app uses no third-party tracking cookies.

We remember your choice for 6 months and then ask again. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or here: Open cookie settings. When you withdraw consent, the services stop loading and we remove their cookies on our own domain as far as your browser allows. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work.
