Bookings come in while you are off
Your page is open all week. A client books a treatment and a member books a spot in class, long after you have gone home.
Avana takes over the work around your appointments and classes. Clients and members book and pay themselves, you see everything in one place and you keep every dollar. Choose what you run below.

A salon works with appointments, a studio with classes. Pick the one that fits you and you will see straight away what Avana does for you.
Appointments, treatments and clients
Clients book and pay themselves, even while you are working. Your day sits clearly in one calendar and fewer slots stay empty.
Classes, members and groups
Members book their own spot and their membership is paid by itself. You stand in front of the class and see at a glance where each member stands.
Nobody answers the phone while you are with a client. Avana takes that part off your hands, so your day stays clear and the same week earns you more.
You are in the middle of a color and your phone stays quiet. Your client picks a free time on your own page, and the confirmation and reminder go out by themselves.
Your calendar, your clients, your payments and your invoices sit in one place. With every client you can read what you did last time, and in the evening there is nothing left to type up.
With a deposit and a reminder, fewer slots stay empty, and whatever does free up, your waitlist offers straight away. Sell your products too, in your own shop.
Each page is about the way you work: the time you need, the treatments you offer, and where things go wrong when you take bookings by phone.
During a class you cannot answer messages. Booking, paying, checking in and keeping track of who has credit left all happen in Avana by themselves, so you can teach and keep more of what your studio earns.
Put your regular classes in your online schedule once and members book their own spot. When someone cancels, the spot goes to whoever is on the waitlist. At the class, members check themselves in with a QR code.
For each member you see their class pack, their membership and when they last came in. Forms and files sit alongside, and with coaching in Studio Max you track sessions, goals and measurements per member. That is how member management works.
Memberships are paid every month by themselves. With Studio Plus you also sell day and week passes and your own products in your shop, and a trial class turns newcomers into regular members.
Each type of studio has its own page, with the classes, groups and passes that belong to that kind of studio.
For your salon and for your studio, at the moments when you now have to stop what you are doing.
Your page is open all week. A client books a treatment and a member books a spot in class, long after you have gone home.
When a time or a spot frees up, whoever is on the waitlist is offered it. You do not have to call anyone.
Your client pays a deposit when they book, if you want them to. Your member buys a class pack or a membership online.

Better to know now than after a trial week. If it does not fit, we will simply say so.
For salons and studios you run yourself, alone or with a small team. If you run a salon, such as a hair salon, nail salon or beauty salon, clients book a treatment themselves on your own page. If you run a studio, such as pilates, yoga, a boxing gym or a gym, members book their own spot in your schedule. See Avana for salons or Avana for studios.
Yes. Avana for studios has its own schedule where members book themselves, class packs, memberships that renew automatically, a waitlist that fills empty spots and check-in with a QR code. With Studio Plus you also sell day and week passes and your own products, and with Studio Max you track coaching per member. It works for pilates and reformer studios, yoga, barre, Hyrox, boxing and martial arts, bootcamp and HIIT, gyms, personal training, physiotherapy with group training and dance schools.
A salon works with appointments: one client, one treatment, one time. A studio works with classes: a group of members in the same class, with a pass or a membership. That is why each side has its own plans and its own words. Your own page, online payments, reminders and no commission come with both.
Yes, that is who Avana is made for first. For a salon, Business is for one person and costs $20.99 a month. For a studio, that is Studio, for those who teach themselves, at $22.99 a month, both sales tax included. You do not need anyone to get it running: add your treatments or classes and share your link.
No. While your calendar or schedule is still filling up, every booking you would otherwise have lost because you could not answer counts. You pay a fixed amount a month and no percentage, so a quiet week costs you nothing extra.
Then you add them. For a salon, Business Plus is for you plus one ($35.99 a month) and Business Max for you plus two ($70.99 a month); each person beyond that is $7.99 a month. For a studio, Studio Plus is for up to three instructors ($45.99 a month) and Studio Max for unlimited instructors ($80.99 a month). Everyone gets their own login.
Yes. With a salon at home you can show your address only after someone has booked, so it is not public on your page. Your client gets the address in the confirmation. Read more about your booking page.
Yes. A salon brings clients, services and appointments across from an Excel or CSV export of its current system; see switching to Avana. A studio moves members over with their remaining credit, and we help with that for free.
No. Avana charges no commission on your revenue, on any booking. You only pay your fixed monthly amount. If a client or member pays online, a small service fee covers the card processing and is part of the price they see from the start. Paying in person, or booking with a class pack or membership, costs nothing extra.
Avana was built in the Netherlands and works in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the UK and the US, with your booking page, your emails and the way clients pay suited to the country. In the UK and the US, clients pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Avana is booking software for salons and studios in the US run by their owner, alone or with a small team, made by Sweeber Technologies in the Netherlands. Salons, such as hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, beauty salons, massage therapists, lash artists, pedicurists and tattoo studios, use it to be booked online on their own page, with automatic reminders, online payments and deposits against no-shows. Studios, such as pilates and reformer studios, yoga, barre, Hyrox, boxing and martial arts, bootcamp and HIIT, gyms, personal training, physiotherapy with group training and dance schools, use it for a schedule where members book themselves, class packs, memberships that renew automatically, a waitlist that fills empty spots, check-in with a QR code, coaching per member and their own shop. You pay a fixed amount a month and no commission on your revenue. For a salon, Business costs $20.99, Business Plus $35.99 and Business Max $70.99 a month. For a studio, Studio costs $22.99, Studio Plus $45.99 and Studio Max $80.99 a month, sales tax included. You can try Avana free for 7 days and cancel any month.
Most booking systems are designed for a business with a front desk. Someone answers the phone, someone manages the schedule and someone sends the invoices. In most salons and studios that someone does not exist: it is you, between two clients or two classes. Avana is built for the salon and the studio you run yourself, and you can see that in every choice. You switch it on yourself with no implementation project, you pay a fixed amount a month with no percentage of your revenue, and whatever you do not need stays out of the way.
If you work alone, every hour that stays empty is your hour. Nobody covers it for you. That is why the things that prevent it come with every plan: automatic confirmations and reminders, a cancellation policy you set yourself, and the option to ask for a deposit on your longer treatments. If someone cancels anyway, the waitlist offers that hour straight away to whoever is waiting, without you making a single call.
The same goes for the evenings. When you work alone, the admin happens after the last client leaves. In Avana your revenue, your invoices and your client records sit in one place, and from Business Plus you can see in your numbers which treatments earn you the most. There is nothing to retype into a second program.
A marketplace places your salon among your competitors and takes commission per booking. When you work alone, that hurts twice: you pay the most on clients who would have come to you anyway. With Avana your client books on your own page, with your name, your photos and your terms, and the client details stay yours. To see the difference side by side, read how Avana compares.
The Business plan is for one person and costs $20.99 a month, sales tax included. It includes your booking page, your calendar, your client records, confirmations and reminders, online payments and deposits. No commission comes off your revenue, however full your calendar gets. If someone comes to work with you, you move up to Business Plus ($35.99 a month, you plus one) or Business Max ($70.99 a month, you plus two), and each person beyond that is $7.99 a month. It is all on the pricing page.
Avana is used by hair salons, barbershops, nail techs, beauty salons, massage therapists, lash artists, pedicurists and tattoo studios. Whether you work from home, rent a chair or share a building, it works the same way: you choose your hours, your treatments and whether your address only shows after someone books.
A studio works differently from a salon. You teach a group, your members come back every week and pay with a class pack or a membership. In Avana for studios you put your regular classes in your online schedule once, and members book their own spot. A class pack counts down by itself after each class, memberships are paid every month without you doing anything, and when someone cancels, the spot goes through the waitlist to whoever is waiting. Newcomers try a trial class first, and for every member you can see in your member management what is left on their pass.
Avana for studios is used by pilates and reformer studios, yoga, barre, Hyrox, boxing and martial arts, bootcamp and HIIT, gyms, personal training, physiotherapy with group training and dance schools. Studio is for those who teach themselves and costs $22.99 a month. Studio Plus is for up to three instructors at $45.99 a month, and Studio Max is for unlimited instructors at $80.99 a month. Every plan has unlimited members, and no commission ever comes off your class price.
