Do my clients need to download an app?
No. Clients book in their browser on your booking page, from the link in your Instagram bio, a message you send or the QR code on your front desk. You run everything from the Avana app for iPhone and Android, or on a computer.
Can I ask for a deposit to stop no-shows?
Yes. You choose which treatments need a deposit and how much it is, and clients pay it when they book. Together with the automatic reminders by email and text, it means far fewer empty chairs, and if someone still does not turn up, you keep the deposit.
How do my clients pay?
Online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, which pays out straight to your own bank account. If you prefer, clients can also pay in the salon as they always have. You switch each option on or off yourself.
Can I bring my clients over from another booking system?
Yes. Export your clients, appointments, services and products from your current system as an Excel or CSV file and import them into Avana. It costs nothing extra, and if you get stuck, our team will help you over email.
