Win back the group that slipped away
See which regulars are at risk of drifting away and message that group in one go. Reports are in Business Plus, campaigns in Business Max.
Avana's reports turn your own appointments into weekly takings, earnings per hour for each service, your busiest times and the clients at risk of drifting away. Reports come with Business Plus, so you can see why a month went well.

A feeling about a good or bad month doesn't tell you what to change. Avana's figures come from what actually happened in your salon.
Which service earns the most per hour, and which takes a lot of time for little return. That often changes what you offer.
Tuesday morning doesn't fill and Saturday is packed. With that picture you can do something about your prices and hours.
How many clients come back, and which regular hasn't been in for two months. That's exactly the group one message can win back.
There's nothing to keep track of: Avana counts everything from your appointments, payments and client cards.
Your takings by week, month or year, with the change compared to the previous period or last year. You see at once whether you're up or down.
See which days and parts of the day are busy, and how many small gaps fall between appointments. Adjust your hours or offers to match.
Your best clients are at the top, and you see how many clients have been before. Anyone at risk of drifting away can be won back with a message.
The figures come from your own calendar, payments and client cards, so you can act on them straight away without copying anything.

A service that takes a long time and earns little stands out at once. It's the conversation with yourself you keep putting off.
With invoices switched on, you see your takings and VAT per rate and download the summary. Invoices are in every plan.

Avana shows your takings by week, month and year, what you earn per hour from each service, your busiest days and parts of the day, how many clients come back and how often someone didn't show or cancelled at short notice. It all comes from your own appointments, so there's nothing to fill in. Reports are part of Business Plus and Business Max.
No. Avana counts everything from the appointments, payments and clients that are already there. No spreadsheet to fill in and nothing to forget; if you want to see what's left after costs, you log those costs in the cash book.
Yes, Avana shows which service earns the most, and also what you earn per hour from each one. That's often the figure that surprises salons most: a long service that looks great on the receipt can earn less per hour than a quick cut.
Yes. In Avana you see how many clients have been before, how quickly clients return and which regulars haven't been in for more than 60 days. With campaigns on Business Max you can message that group in one go.
Yes, if you have invoices switched on. The bookkeeping tab shows your takings and VAT per rate from your final invoices. The summary itself is in every plan and is also available with your invoices.
Reports come with Avana Business Plus, which costs £28.99 a month, VAT included. They're also in Avana Business Max, together with campaigns and treatment rooms, but not in Avana Business. The full comparison is on the pricing page.
Yes. On Avana's bookkeeping tab you choose a period and download your VAT summary, a VAT breakdown and, if you use the cash book, your receipts per payment, all as CSV. You then send that file on yourself.
When a client pays online, a small service fee is part of the price they see from the very first screen: 3% of the booking, at least £1.49 and at most £2.29. You pay nothing on your takings, because Avana charges no commission. That small amount from the client is what lets us pay you out in full, so the whole treatment price stays with you.

Avana is a salon booking system that shows where your takings come from. Its reports turn your own appointments, payments and clients into figures you can use: takings by week, month and year, what you earn per hour from each service, which days and parts of the day are full, how many clients return, the income lost to no-shows and gaps, and how full the coming months already are. There's nothing to keep track of yourself, and you can download a VAT summary for your accountant. Reports come with Avana Business Plus: £28.99 a month, which is £0.95 a day.
Most salon owners can feel whether a month was good or bad, but can't say why. That makes sense: tracking what each service earns takes an evening a month, and you don't have that evening. Salon reports in Avana add it all up for you from the appointments and payments already there, so you see the takings of your hair salon, nail studio or beauty room week by week.
The figure salons get most from is what an hour of their time is worth per service. A three-hour balayage for £120 earns £40 an hour; four £45 cuts in the same three hours earn £60 an hour. That often changes how you set up your services and prices. You also see which part of the day is usually quiet and where small gaps fall, so you can shift your opening hours or run an offer right there.
You get the most out of it when the figures work with the rest of Avana. If regulars haven't been in for a few months, send that group one message with a campaign and see how many appointments it brought in. If no-shows creep up, add a deposit to your long services and see the next month whether they drop. Reports come with Business Plus and campaigns with Business Max, priced on the pricing page.
Salon reporting turns your appointments and payments into a few figures you can make decisions on: what came in, where it came from, when it's busy and who comes back. Working alone makes it more useful, not less. There's no manager keeping track for you, and every wrong call about your prices or hours shows up straight away in your own pocket.
In Avana it fills itself from what's already in your calendar. You choose week, month or year at the top and compare with the previous period or last year; if someone works with you, you can also view each person separately. The figures sit across four tabs: overview, clients, busyness and sources, and bookkeeping.
Divide a service's takings by the time it takes in your calendar, including processing and overrunning. It sounds simple, but hardly anyone does it, because you remember the price and not the time. A two-hour service at a higher price can earn less per hour than a one-hour service at a lower one, even though the first feels better on the receipt.
In Avana it's on the overview tab. For each service you see takings divided by calendar time, with how often it was booked; a service booked only once doesn't count yet, because one appointment says too little. If you want to sell the best earner more often, put it at the top of your booking page.
Usually more than you'd think, and it comes from three places: clients who don't show, clients who cancel at short notice and small gaps between appointments you never fill. Each on its own feels like bad luck; added up, a busy month can easily lose a few full appointments.
In Avana it's shown as income you missed: no-shows, cancellations less than 24 hours ahead, and gaps of 10 to 45 minutes. Each gap is valued against what you earned per booked hour that period, and a deposit you kept is taken off again. Each part has a button to where you can fix it. If no-shows are the problem, see no-show protection; if it's mostly late cancellations, the waitlist in Business Plus helps.
Mostly what you received, how it was paid and how much VAT is due. You don't need your own spreadsheet for that, as long as your appointments and invoices live in one system.
On the bookkeeping tab you see per payment method what you received for appointments, such as online, cash or card, and with the cash book you can download receipts per payment as a CSV. Under takings and VAT you see each rate with the amount before VAT, the VAT and the total, from your final invoices, ready to download. Separately, every plan lets you download a month of invoices, and the cash book with your costs comes with Business Plus.
