No. Avana never takes a percentage of what your clients pay, on a regular client or a brand new one. Marketplaces such as Fresha, Booksy and Treatwell keep part of a new client's first booking; with Avana you pay the same monthly amount however busy you get.
Yes. Every price on this page includes VAT at 20%. Each subscription payment comes with an invoice in your dashboard, with the VAT shown, so your accountant has what they need.
Clients pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, the payment company behind many online shops. The money goes from Stripe straight to your own bank account on a regular payout schedule, and Avana never holds it. You can also let clients pay in the salon as they always have.
When a client pays online, a small service fee covers the card processing. It is part of the price your client sees from the first screen, so nothing appears at the last step. None of it comes out of your revenue, and paying in the salon adds nothing.
No setup fee and no annual contract. You pay month by month and can cancel whenever you like; you keep access until the end of the month you already paid for. If you prefer to pay yearly, that is cheaper, and you can still stop at the end of the year.
Yes. Every plan is free for 7 days and you do not need to enter payment details to start. In that week you add your services, share your booking page and see whether clients use it. If it is not for you, the trial simply ends and you pay nothing.

Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Export your clients, appointments, services and products from your current system as an Excel or CSV file and import them into Avana; it works out which column is which. If you get stuck, send us the files and we will help.
Text reminders come in bundles: 50 texts for £4.99, 150 texts for £11.99, 400 texts for £24.99. Avana Connect, which answers your Instagram DMs and offers a free time to book, is £9.99 a month. Avana Academy is £8.99 a month on Business or Business Plus, £9.99 a month on its own, and included in Business Max.
