Yes. Per service you can enable a photo upload field in the intake form. Clients attach their Pinterest references, custom design briefs or healing photos from previous tattoos.
Can I require a health intake form before the session?
Yes. Per service you build a custom form with the questions that matter for that booking — health conditions, allergies, medications, previous tattoos, recent sun exposure. The client fills it in before they arrive.
Can I require deposits on long sessions?
Yes. Per service you set a deposit amount, typically 30-50% for sessions over an hour. Client pays at booking, you keep the deposit on no-show, deducted from the final bill at checkout.
Can each artist have their own calendar?
Yes. Add a calendar per artist with their own services, hours and buffer time. Up to 3 artists included on Pro at £39/month, +£4.95 per extra artist. Useful for guest spots and residencies.
Can I save healing photos and tattoo history per client?
Yes. Per client you can attach photos and notes — placement, healing, touch-ups, future ideas. All stored encrypted, only visible to you and your team.
What is Stripe and why does Avana use it?
Stripe is a global payment processor used by Shopify, Amazon, Lyft and millions of businesses to take card payments. Avana plugs into Stripe so your clients can pay by card on your booking page — money lands in your bank account directly from Stripe, not via Avana. We pass Stripe's rate through 1:1 with 0% added.
What do I pay per transaction?
Card payments run at Stripe's standard processing rate: 1.5% + £0.20 in the UK. Avana adds nothing on top. On a £55 payment you receive £53.97. You can see the exact breakdown for every transaction in your dashboard.
What is the booking fee?
When a client books online, a small £1.49 fee applies — the same way a booking fee works on any reservation platform. It's shown to the client at the time of booking and is non-refundable if the client cancels. It does not come out of your service revenue.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial, no credit card required. You can set up your booking page, add your services and test the full calendar before deciding.
Can I cancel anytime?
