Avana gives every client a card with their details, visits and your private notes, created automatically at their first booking. It's in every Avana plan, so last time's formula and that allergy are simply there at the next appointment.

Facials and treatment courses, each with the right length, booked straight into your calendar.
Gel polish, new sets and maintenance, with a deposit that keeps the chair from sitting empty.
Clients pick their own stylist and book themselves, evenings included.
Full sets and maintenance appointments, in a calendar that never double-books.
A calm calendar with reminders, so clients arrive on time.
Remembering every client by heart stops working once your list grows. Avana keeps it all on the client card, where you can find it in seconds.
Details, visits, what they spent and your notes. No more scrolling back through eighteen months of messages.
You still know they take their coffee black and that last time came out a shade too warm. That's what brings people back.
Sort your clients by last visit and anyone who hasn't been in for over three months stands out. Those are exactly the people to win back.
Avana builds the card as clients book: details, every visit with service and amount, intake answers and your notes, all in one place.
When someone books for the first time, they're added straight away. After that the card grows with every appointment, including the ones you add yourself.
The color formula, an allergy, prefers not to have a blow-dry. Type it once and it's there at the next appointment.
Sort by last visit and you see who came this month and who has stayed away for more than three months. One message is often enough to get someone back in your chair.
Avana's client records are there from day one; anything that needs a bigger plan or an add-on is marked.
Appointments, stamps and review requests all hang off the same clients, so nothing needs copying. Three moments in your week where you notice it.
Everyone who has drifted away, or your best clients. Avana finds the group and you write the message. From Business Max.
With the loyalty card on, the client card shows how many stamps someone has. If Sophie is on four of five, you can mention at the desk that the next visit fills it.
Clients who book online are on your list with an email address, so a few hours after the appointment the review request goes out by itself. New clients read the replies on your booking page.
In Avana it builds itself: everyone who books with you, or whom you add to the calendar yourself, gets their own client card that grows with each appointment. If you're coming from another system or have a spreadsheet, you can import it in one go from the settings.
Yes, Avana has a notes field on every client card that clients never see. A color formula, an allergy or a preference for no blow-dry: type it once and it's there at the next appointment. Clients never see your notes; anyone on your team who opens the client card does.
Yes. Avana's client card lists every visit with the service, date and amount, including appointments you added to your calendar yourself. You never have to ask what it was last time.
Avana shows it in your client list. Sort your client list by last visit and anyone absent for more than three months stands out. Your reports, from Business Plus, also show how many clients come back and who's at risk of drifting away, and with campaigns on Business Max you can message that group in one go.
Avana processes your client data only on your behalf, to run your bookings. It isn't used for Avana's own purposes, for advertising or to contact your clients, and only you and your team can access it.
You do. Your clients belong to your salon and Avana never contacts them itself. If you need a copy of your client data, for example because you're switching, support will arrange it for you; that's one of the big differences from booking marketplaces.
Yes, your client list with notes and history is in every plan, including Avana Business at $20.99 a month, tax included. Campaigns to a group of clients come with Avana Business Max, as the pricing page shows.
When a client pays online, a small service fee is part of the price they see from the very first screen: 3% of the booking, at least $1.99 and at most $2.79. You pay nothing on your takings, because Avana charges no commission. That small amount from the client is what lets us pay you out in full, so the whole treatment price stays with you.

Avana gives every salon client their own card automatically at their first booking, with their details, every visit with service and amount, their answers to your intake questions and your own notes, such as a color formula or an allergy. Clients never see those notes. In your client list you sort by last visit and see who hasn't been in for more than three months, and a list from another system can be imported in one go. Client management is included in every plan. For a solo salon, Avana Business costs $20.99 a month, tax included, which is $0.69 a day. Campaigns to a group of clients come with Avana Business Max.
You know it all, but it's in your head, on a card in a drawer, in a spreadsheet or in a message from a year and a half ago. A good salon client management system brings it into one place: details, every visit and the notes you add. In Avana that happens on its own, because every booking fills in the card a little more.
Notes are what salons value most. A color formula, an allergy, or that last time came out a shade too warm: type it once and it's there at the next appointment, visible as soon as you open it in your calendar. Whatever the client filled in on your intake form lands on the same card.
A client list also shows who you're no longer seeing. Sort by last visit and anyone absent for more than three months stands out, and with campaigns on Business Max you can message them in one go. A digital loyalty card keeps count of visits, and after every online booking a review request goes out. Your list stays yours; the pricing page sets out each plan.
A client list is a record of everyone who comes to you, with their details, their visits and whatever you want to remember about them. For a self-employed hairdresser, nail tech, beauty therapist or barber it's your salon's memory. Without one it lives in your head and your phone, and once you get busy you forget the formula for someone you only see twice a year, or the allergy of someone new.
In Avana you don't maintain it yourself. When someone books online, or you add an appointment, that client gets a card with their details, every appointment with service, date and amount, their intake answers and your notes. The card also holds tabs for documents, treatment records and every email and text they've been sent, and at the top you see how often they've been, what they've spent in total and when they last came.
Put what always applies on the client card itself, and what changes each visit in a note. An allergy to latex or a pregnancy applies every time; today's color formula may be different next time. Mixing the two is exactly how things go wrong in a notebook.
In Avana, open the client and add what always applies to their notes and particulars. If it mentions words like allergy, caution or pregnant, the block turns yellow and a yellow warning appears next to that client in your list. A formula or what you did today goes in as a note; you can pin an important one, and each note shows who wrote it. Client labels such as Regular or VIP help you recognize someone at a glance.
Export your clients from your old system as Excel or CSV and import them into Avana in one go. It doesn't matter which system you're leaving. Log in to it, ideally on a computer, and look for export or download, often under settings, reports or your client list, and download your clients and, if possible, your appointments and services.
In Avana you open the import in your settings and choose your files. Avana works out which column is which and asks a short question if something is unclear, such as whether the day or the month comes first. If someone already seems to be in Avana, it asks whether it's the same person, and nothing is saved until you confirm. Nobody gets an email during the import. More on switching to Avana.
Keep what you need to treat them well, and nothing more. An allergy, skin type or color formula belongs there; gossip from the chair does not. You're responsible for your clients' data, and Avana handles it on your behalf.
If a client asks to be deleted, you remove them from their client card. The card with its notes and documents goes, appointments stay anonymously so your takings still add up, and invoices are kept because the law requires it. There's deliberately no button to download your whole client list; if you need a copy, support arranges it.
