Discount codes are useful for three things: opening-week offers (£10 off any service for the first 30 clients), loyal-client rewards (regulars get a code valid for 6 months), and seasonal campaigns (Black Friday, summer special). Each has different rules; Avana lets you set them per code.

Per code you control: the discount amount or percentage, which services it applies to, a start and end date, total uses and per-client uses. A code can be a single-use first-visit voucher, an unlimited 10%-off code for clients who follow your Instagram, or anything in between.

All codes show up in reports so you can see which campaigns drove the most bookings and revenue.

Can I limit a code to a specific service?

Yes. Per code you select which services it applies to. Useful for opening offers on a specific signature service.

Can I limit the number of uses?

Yes. Per code you set total uses, per-client uses and a date range.

Can clients combine multiple codes?

No. One code per booking, by design — combining codes leads to confusion and abuse.

Can I make a code first-visit-only?

Yes. Tick 'new clients only' on the code and Avana checks the client's booking history at redemption.

Can I do percentage off and fixed amount off?

Yes. Per code you choose: a percentage (e.g. 15% off) or a fixed amount (e.g. £10 off).

What if a client misspells the code?

Codes are case-insensitive and ignore spaces. 'WELCOME10' and 'welcome 10' both work.

Can I see how many bookings each code generated?

Yes. The reports section lists every code with redemptions, revenue and remaining usage.

Do codes work on retail products in Avana Shop?
