Avana gives each colleague, apprentice or chair renter their own login and their own column in your salon calendar, and clients choose who they book with online. Business Plus has room for you and one colleague, and you keep the overview.

Taking someone on shouldn't turn your calendar into a puzzle. In Avana each person has their own hours and services, and you see everything in one place.
With an apprentice or a colleague, you can see two clients at once on your busiest day. Each person has their own column in the calendar.
Anyone who always sees you chooses you. Anyone without a preference chooses whoever has time.
A colleague sees their own appointments. Takings, reports and your settings stay yours unless you open them up.
You add a team member in Avana's team settings. After that, everything you already had keeps working, for everyone.
Avana creates a temporary password and emails it to your colleague. They log in and see only their own appointments.
For each colleague, switch on the services they offer and the days they work. Online, a time is only open when that person is really there.
As soon as there are two of you, clients choose on your booking page who their appointment is with. Only people who do that service are listed.
By default a colleague sees their own appointments and your clients. Takings, reports, marketing and the shop can be opened up per person if you want.
Two people sharing one notebook or a group chat, compared with Avana.
| A notebook or a group chat | With Avana | |
|---|---|---|
| Who has time? | Flicking through or messaging your colleague | You see it in one calendar |
| A client wants your colleague | Passing it on and hoping it arrives | Clients choose who themselves |
| Your colleague is off on Tuesday | Remembering not to book them | Tuesday is closed for that person |
| Two clients at the same time | Working out whether it fits | A client each |
| What your colleague sees | Everything, including your takings | What you choose to open up |
In Avana, everything about a team member is on one screen in your team settings.
If you work in more than one place, you also choose which location each person works at.
Three parts that work along automatically once there's a second name in your calendar.
If you put something private in Google, only your hours close. Anyone wanting that time books with your colleague instead.
The client card with notes and past appointments belongs to the salon. If your regular sees your colleague once, the color formula is right there.
The day before, every client gets a reminder with your address, whoever the appointment is with. Nobody has to remember to send it.

Yes. In Avana, enter their name and email address, and Avana emails them a temporary password; they log in and see only their own appointments. You can also add someone to your calendar without a login.
Yes. In Avana, as soon as there's more than one person in your calendar, clients choose who on your booking page. Only people who offer the chosen service and work that day are listed, and in your booking widget clients can also choose no preference.
Yes, Avana allows several clients at once if you switch it on. In your booking rules, allow several clients at once, and each person can have their own client at the same time. With it off, your location takes one client at a time.
Not unless you open that up in Avana. By default a colleague sees their own appointments and your clients, and takings and invoices, reports, marketing and the shop can be switched on per person. Your settings always stay yours.
In Avana, switch that person off and they no longer take up a seat, while their existing appointments stay. If you bought an extra seat you no longer need, you can cancel it from your team settings.
Yes. In Avana, for each person you set working days, separate from your opening hours, and the services they do, so a time is only open online when that person is really there. More under availability.
When a client pays online, a small service fee is part of the price they see from the very first screen: 3% of the booking, at least $1.99 and at most $2.79. You pay nothing on your takings, because Avana charges no commission. That small amount from the client is what lets us pay you out in full, so the whole treatment price stays with you.

Avana is a booking system where adding a colleague is straightforward. Each team member gets their own login and sees their own appointments, while you see everything in one calendar. You set working days and services per person, and clients choose who they book with on your booking page. What a colleague can see in Avana, such as takings or reports, is switched on or off per person. Avana Business Plus has room for you and one colleague at $35.99 a month, which is $1.18 a day, and Avana Business Max has room for you and two. Each extra seat costs $7.99 a month in any plan.
Most salons are one-person businesses, yet there often comes a time when someone joins: an apprentice on Saturdays, a colleague renting a chair two days a week, or a nail tech working alongside your hair salon. A salon booking system for multiple staff keeps your calendar as one. In Avana you add that person in your team settings, and from then on your calendar works for both of you.
For each person you set when they work and which services they do. If your apprentice doesn't do color yet, clients can't book color with them. On your booking page clients choose who, and the reminder goes out by itself. If you put something private in Google Calendar, only your hours close and your colleague stays bookable.
In Business you work alone, in Business Plus with one colleague and in Business Max with two. An extra seat can be added to any plan, and when someone leaves you switch them off to free the seat. If you work in several places, see multiple locations and treatment rooms as well; seat and plan prices are on the pricing page.
As soon as two people see clients in the same week, even if it's only one day. A hairdresser with an apprentice on Saturdays, a beauty therapist letting a room to a colleague, a nail studio where a second tech works two evenings. With one paper calendar or a group chat, it goes wrong at the busiest times: a client booked with the wrong person, or two appointments at once.
In Avana you add someone with a name and email address and Avana emails them a temporary password. For each person you choose their services, their working days and how many appointments they can have in a day. Start small: add your colleague and see how the week goes. If it doesn't work out, switch them off and they no longer take a seat.
Let the client choose, and make the choice easy. Regulars want to see the name they trust, and that should be possible; new clients often don't mind and just pick a time. On your booking page clients choose who, and in the widget on your website they can choose no preference, which gives the appointment to whoever is free and does that service.
Two things matter more than any system. Switch on the right services per person, so nobody gets a client for something they don't do yet. And after a month, look at appointments and takings per person, which Avana shows on each person's profile. If your colleague sits idle on Tuesdays, that's a conversation about working days rather than who gets the clients, and your reports show which hours stay empty.
With Avana you pay a fixed monthly plan with a number of people included, plus a fixed amount per extra seat. Business is for working alone. Business Plus has room for you and one colleague at $35.99 a month, and Business Max for you and two at $70.99 a month, tax included. An extra seat is $7.99 a month in any plan, including Business.
Work it out for your situation. If you work alone and someone helps one day a week, Business with one extra seat may be cheaper than Business Plus, although Business Plus also includes the waitlist, gift cards and reports. Avana takes no commission on your takings, including your colleague's appointments. Every price is on the pricing page.
