Regulars sign up online once, and their card is charged on the same day each month. You stop chasing payments and start planning on steady income.

Avana Studio is studio membership software with monthly recurring payments in the US. Members' cards are charged every month, failed payments get a new payment link automatically, and memberships can be paused. Studio costs $22.99 a month, Studio Plus $45.99 and Studio Max $80.99, all tax included, with 0% commission, no setup fee and a 7-day free trial.
You set it up one time.Every month after that it renews without anyone lifting a finger.
Unlimited classes, or a fixed number per month. The price is yours to set.
A few taps on your studio page. The first month is paid the moment they join.
Their card is charged every month, and they book their usual classes themselves.
If most of your members come on the same day every week, a membership suits them better than buying pack after pack.
Every membership renews on its own date, so on the first of the month you already have a fair idea of your income. That makes it far easier to decide on a new instructor or an extra evening class.

Someone on a membership comes more often and stays longer than someone buying the odd class. They book their regular slot weeks ahead and treat your studio as part of their routine.
In their account, members see their membership, the classes they've booked and when the next payment is due. If they want to stop, they cancel it there themselves, month by month.
Unlimited works for the member who comes four times a week. Eight classes a month suits someone with a fixed rhythm. Put both next to your class packs and let members pick what fits their week.

If a monthly charge doesn't go through, the member is sent a fresh payment link by email. Until it's paid, they can't book new classes with that membership, so nobody quietly trains for free.
Who's coming, what's come in and what's left on every pack: all on your phone, and on your members' phones.
Set the membership up once. From then on the same rules apply every month, for you and for the member.
Members on a membership book from the same schedule as everyone else.Anyone who comes less regularly can buy a class pack instead.
Members buy their pack online, and one class comes off with every booking.

In your Avana dashboard you create a membership, either unlimited or with a set number of classes a month, and choose the price. Members sign up on your studio page and pay the first month straight away. After that their card is charged every month and they book their own classes.
Memberships are charged to the member's card every month through Stripe, and the money goes to your own bank account. Members can sign up with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You pay Avana no commission on any membership.
Avana marks the membership as overdue and emails the member a new payment link. Until the payment goes through, they can't book new classes with that membership. You'll see on the member's card in your dashboard that the payment failed.
Yes, members cancel their membership themselves in their own account, month by month. Any classes in the month they've already paid for can still be booked until that month ends.
No, on a membership with a set number of classes, those classes are valid until the end of the month. A fresh set arrives with every new month. An unlimited membership has no count, so the question doesn't come up there.
Yes, you can pause a member's membership for one, two or three months, for example during a long holiday or after an injury. The pause starts when the month they've paid for ends, nothing is charged while it lasts, and the membership carries on by itself afterwards.
No, a membership can be charged to the member's card automatically, but you can also let them pay at your desk. You then mark each month as paid with one tap, and if a week goes by without payment, the membership pauses itself. For automatic monthly charges you connect your bank account through Stripe.

Avana is studio membership software that sells your memberships online and charges each member's card every month. A studio runs on its regulars. Someone who comes every Tuesday doesn't want to pay again each time, and you don't want to spend the first week of every month working out who still owes you. A membership settles it for both of you: sign up once, and it keeps going.
Unlimited is easy to explain and feels generous, which suits members who come three or four times a week. A set number, such as eight classes a month, suits members with a steady rhythm and keeps your class sizes predictable. Many studios offer both, plus a class pack for people whose weeks vary.
With a class pack, a member pays upfront for a number of classes. A membership is paid again each month. For you, the membership is the calmer option, because you know at the start of the month what will arrive. A pack is a friendly first step for newcomers who aren't ready to commit.
Cards expire, get replaced or hit their limit, so a failed monthly charge is normal now and then. What matters is that it gets followed up quickly and without an awkward conversation at the front desk. In Avana the member gets a new payment link by email, and the membership can't be used for new bookings until it's settled.
Avana sells your memberships online, charges them every month and lets members book their classes on your online class schedule. Read how card payments and invoices work on the page about online payments, or check what Avana costs further down this page.
