Questions about moving from Momence to Avana
How much does Avana Studio cost for a studio?
Avana Studio starts at $22.99 a month, tax included. That's the Studio plan, for owners who teach their own classes. Studio Plus is $45.99 and Studio Max $80.99 a month. You try Avana free for 7 days and only pay if you stay.
Do my members keep the classes left on their Momence pack?
Yes. When you import your Momence export, every member gets a pack in Avana with the classes they had left and the expiry date from your file. You can adjust anyone's credit by hand afterwards, and they carry on booking straight away.
What happens to members on a monthly membership in Momence?
They come across as members, but the monthly payment itself doesn't move. Each member starts the membership again in Avana with their own card, which takes about a minute, and from then on it's charged every month. Stop the payment in Momence on the same day so nobody pays twice.
What's a cheaper alternative to Momence for a small studio?

Can I bring my Momence members and their credit into Avana?
Yes. If you can get your customer list out of Momence as a CSV or Excel file with remaining credit, upload it in Avana, and each member gets a pack with what they had left. If the export doesn't look right, send it to us and we'll help.
Does Avana support on-demand video or online classes?
Avana has no on-demand video library. Live online classes do work: you add your own video call link to a class, and only members who booked it can see the link. If recorded videos are a meaningful part of your income, you'd keep a separate tool for those.
Do Avana members pay a fee when they book?
Classes booked with a pack or membership cost members nothing extra. If a member pays online, a small booking fee is part of the price members see from the start: 3%, at least $1.99 and at most $2.79. Your studio never pays commission or a booking fee.
