Booking and paying take care of themselves
Members book and buy their next pack on their own phone, whenever it suits them.
Newcomers book a trial session on their own and stay on as members. Your groups fill up by level, and monthly fees come in without a reminder from you.

Avana Studio is booking software for boxing gyms in the UK. It runs classes for juniors and adults with a cap per session, trial sessions for beginners, class packs and monthly memberships. Studio costs £17.99 a month, Studio Plus £35.99 and Studio Max £65.99, all VAT included, with 0% commission, no setup fee and a 7-day free trial.
Once someone has had the gloves on, they want another round.Avana makes sure that turns into a membership.
Someone who wants to start books a trial on your page by themselves. Nobody has to ring or message you first.
The reminder tells them what to bring. Your coach can see in advance that Tom is new.
Tom automatically gets a message with your class packs and memberships. No follow-up call needed.
Tom picks a membership, and it's charged to his card every month without anyone chasing it.
Every session sits on your timetable with its own level, coach and cap. A beginner can tell straight away which one is for them, and your coach knows who will be on the floor before the warm-up starts.

You set up a junior group for the whole term, with the age range in the name. Parents enrol their child and pay for the term in one go or in instalments.
A boxing class works best with a busy room. Once a session is full, members join the waitlist, and when someone cancels in time the spot passes straight to the next in line.
From the first warm-up to the advanced session.Members choose their own class while you coach.

A tablet stands by the door of your gym.Members hold up the QR code from their app and land on the list for that session, and you can see at once who has arrived.
Add your sessions, packs and memberships, then share your timetable. Members and parents take the bookings from there.
You open the hours when you or a coach are free for private sessions. A member picks a time that suits and books it on the spot, without a string of messages to settle it.
Sell a class pack, a monthly membership or a day pass for someone visiting for one session. If a member is injured or away, you pause their membership for a while.
When someone nearby asks Google or ChatGPT for a boxing gym, yours can come up. Booking a trial session takes them a minute after that.
You're holding the pads, Avana keeps track of the rest.Pricing shows which plan includes what.
From the junior group to advanced sparring, members book for themselves and you always know who's in the room.
Members book and buy their next pack on their own phone, whenever it suits them.
Nothing comes off your price. Members who book online pay straight away, and the money lands in your own account.
Each instructor sees their own timetable, who is booked and any health notes. At the class they tick off who is there.
Which class fills up, how many trial classes turn into members and where an extra class would work.
Sell gift cards and an intro offer. Whoever gets one books a class with you on their own.
Your timetable is open months ahead. Members with a membership book their regular classes straight away, and the membership is charged every month.
One look tells you who's coming today and what has come in. Members book, cancel and buy a new pack on their own phone, and your timetable is always up to date.
Rather not use an app? Booking works just as well in the browser on their phone.

Yes. Avana runs month to month, with no annual contract and no exit fee. After you cancel, everything keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for. You start with a 7-day free trial and only pay if you stay.

Yes. Each boxing session in Avana gets its own name, level, coach and cap, so Junior Boxing 8 to 12 can sit next to an adult evening class. On Studio Plus you can turn the junior group into a term group: parents sign their child up themselves, and two children from one family can share a pack.
Yes, you sell a trial session that each new member can book once, at a price you choose, and they pick the session in the same step. On Studio Plus the newcomer also accepts your house rules, and after the first session they get a welcome with your class packs and memberships.
Yes, on Studio Plus or Studio Max members check in with the QR code in their app. Holding the phone up to a tablet is enough to put them on that session's list, and you and your coaches see in the app who has turned up.
No. Avana doesn't keep grades, gradings, bouts or competition entries, and it doesn't set up sparring pairs. It runs your timetable, booking and payments, the waitlist and the messages to members, and anything specific about a boxer goes in a note on their member card.

Boxing gym software takes your timetable, your members and their payments off your hands, so you can stay on the pads. A boxing gym runs on regular sessions by level, a junior group after school, a sparring group for the experienced and a steady flow of people who want to try it first. Good booking software keeps all of that in view: who is coming, who has paid and who joins after the trial. Here's what Avana does for a boxing gym, and what it leaves to you.
Most boxing gyms start out with a group chat, a sign-in sheet by the door and a list of who has paid their monthly fee. That holds until a second coach joins or the beginners' class is full every week. At that point the software needs to cover four things well: a timetable members book themselves, payment in advance with a pack or membership, a waitlist for full sessions and a member list that shows who is actually training.
Avana puts those four in one app, for you and your members. A member books in the browser or the Avana app and signs in with a code sent by email. You see on your phone who is coming tonight, and each coach sees their own sessions.
In Avana you add each session once, with a name, a length, a level, a coach and a maximum number of spots. Beginners Boxing, Advanced Boxing and a sparring session sit side by side, and a member sees at once which one fits. A weekly session is laid out months ahead, and an extra one in the holidays goes in as a one-off.
You set the cap based on your room, your bags and your ring. When a session is full, a boxer joins the waitlist. If someone cancels in time, the session goes back on their pack and the first person waiting is offered the spot. The details are on the cancellations and waitlist page.
With Studio Plus the junior group becomes a term group, with a start date, an end date and the age range in its name. A parent creates an account, adds their child with just a name and year of birth, and signs them up. They pay for the term in one go or in instalments, and children who took part last time get first refusal on their place.
Two children from one family can book from one pack or membership on Studio Plus. The reminder before each session says what to bring, such as hand wraps and a water bottle. There's more on groups that run for a set period under courses, workshops and terms.
New members want to feel what a session with you is like before they commit. In Avana you sell a trial session that each newcomer books once. On Studio Plus they get a welcome after it with your packs and memberships, and Insights shows how many trial sessions turn into members.
Regulars take a membership that's charged to their card every month. Occasional boxers buy a class pack with an expiry date you choose. With Studio Max you sell a beginners' course of a few weeks as one package. Studio Plus lets you pause a membership while a member is injured, and sell a day pass to someone who drops in while on holiday.
Everything about a member lives on one card: bookings, credit, payments and your own notes, for example about a shoulder you're keeping an eye on. On Studio Plus a new member accepts your house rules at their first booking, such as wraps on and a gum shield for sparring. If you change the wording, Avana asks for their agreement again.
Studio Plus also adds a short health questionnaire at the first booking, so coaches can see whether there's anything to watch. With Studio Max a member can sign a contract on their phone when they buy a membership. Both are covered under health forms and waivers. Every plan lets you export your members to a spreadsheet.
Plenty of boxing gyms offer one-to-one pad work alongside the groups. On Studio Plus you set the hours each coach is available, and a member picks a time. A duet session has two places: one member books it and a friend takes the second spot. Private hours and group sessions share one timetable, so a coach is never booked in two places at once. Read more about private and duet sessions.
Do you mostly train people one-to-one, with packs of a set number of sessions? The page for personal trainers may suit you better.
Each coach has their own login and sees who is booked into their sessions. If a coach can't make it, you ask for cover with one message from Avana, and whoever says yes first takes the session. Members can see who is running the group.
If some of your boxers come through ClassPass or Wellhub, Studio Plus lets you hold a few spots per session for them. Avana doesn't connect to those platforms automatically: you add their bookings by hand or import the platform's export, and they count towards the cap so the room never overfills.
Compare on commission, on the length of the contract and on how easily a parent or member can book. Avana takes no commission, runs month to month and needs no password to book. You'll find what each plan costs under pricing. Moving from another system? We bring your members and their credit across for free, and if that system is Mindbody, read about switching from Mindbody.
Avana doesn't track grades, bouts, competitions or sparring pairings, so those stay with you. Teach kickboxing or another martial art as well? Those sessions go on the same timetable. For every type of studio Avana covers, see studio software.
A boxing gym needs software that shows junior and adult groups side by side, sells a trial session and fills a full session from a waitlist. Avana does all three, with class packs, monthly memberships and a page where boxers and parents book for themselves, with no commission on any of it.
In Avana a newcomer buys a trial session once and chooses the session in the same step. On Studio Plus they get a welcome after that first session, and an intro offer makes the move to a pack or membership a small one.
Yes, on Studio Plus a new member accepts your house rules and fills in a short health questionnaire at their first booking. If you change the wording of the rules, Avana asks every member to accept the new version.
