What studio owners ask about the schedule
How do I create an online class schedule for my studio in Avana?
You add each regular class to your schedule once, with the day, the instructor and the number of spots. From then on it repeats every week. Members see the schedule on your studio page and book their own spot there.
How far ahead can members book classes in Avana?
You decide. By default the schedule is open eight weeks ahead, and you can extend that to twenty-six weeks, roughly six months. Members on a membership can book their regular classes for the coming weeks in one go.
Can I set a maximum number of spots for each class?
Yes, every class gets its own cap, from 1 to 200 spots. You can change it for a single date, for example a smaller group on Saturday. When a class is full nobody else can book it, and a waitlist opens.
What happens when I cancel a class on the schedule?
Everyone who booked gets an email immediately, with your reason if you add one. Members who booked with a pack get the class back, so there's no need to message or ring anyone yourself.
Do my members need an app to see the class schedule?
No. Members view your schedule on your studio page in their phone's browser. To book they sign in with a code sent by email, or with a password if they prefer.
Can I put a cover instructor on a single class?
Yes, you can assign a different instructor to one date, for example when someone is ill. The regular class stays as it is, and members see who is teaching that time. This works on every plan.
