Delete your account

App: Avana, the calendar and booking app for salons and studios.

You can delete your account yourself in the app, which is quickest, or ask us by email if you cannot sign in. Both lead to the same result.

1. Open the Avana app and sign in.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Open the Account tab.
4. Under Delete account, tap Delete.
5. Answer the short questions and tap Delete account.
6. Enter your password, type DELETE in the confirmation field and tap Delete account.

Your account and data are then deleted as described below. This cannot be undone. Deleting your account also ends a paid subscription, so you are not charged again.

Send a deletion request to support-nl@getavana.com with the email address of your Avana account, the name of your salon or studio, and the sentence "I want my Avana account and data deleted." We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on it.

• Account and sign-in: name, email address, phone number and your encrypted password.
• Business profile: business name, address, description, photos, hours, policies and automations.
• Locations you added.
• Appointments and calendar: all appointments, blocked times and time off.
• Client data: client contacts and notes built up from your appointments.
• Reviews, discount codes and gift cards linked to your business.
• Text message logs and purchases linked to your account.

• Invoices and accounting records: 7 years, as tax law requires.
• Security and error logs: up to 12 months, then deleted automatically.

Your card details are not stored by us but by our payment provider, under its own terms.

Your account is deactivated right away. The personal information linked to it is permanently deleted within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
