    Share your new link

Put the link in your Instagram bio and send it to your regulars. Let the bookings already in Vagaro take place, then cancel Vagaro under its own terms.

Questions

Switching from Vagaro: FAQ

How do I export my clients from Vagaro?

In Vagaro, open Reports, run the Customers report for all service providers and export it to Excel. Only the account owner can do this. Menu names change now and then; if the option is not where you expect it, Vagaro support can show you.

How do I import the file into Avana?

Open the import screen in your Avana settings and upload the CSV or Excel file. Avana recognizes the usual columns, such as name, email, phone and notes, and shows you what it will do with each one before anything is saved.

Can I run Avana and Vagaro at the same time?

Yes, and it is the calmest way to switch. There is no link between the two, so block times in Avana that are already booked Vagaro, or connect your Google Calendar so busy times close automatically.

Will my clients notice the switch?

Only that booking got easier. They get your new link, book without making an account and receive a confirmation and a reminder. Their history is waiting on their client record.

What does Avana cost after the trial?

Business is $20.99 a month, Business Plus $35.99 and Business Max $70.99, all with sales tax included. No commission, no contract, cancel any month.

What comes with you

What moves over, and what stays behind

Avana reads a CSV or Excel file from Vagaro in its import screen. There is no direct link between the two systems; you export and upload the file yourself.

Names and contact details

First and last name, email address and phone number for every client in the file.

Notes and extra columns

Notes, birthdays and other columns come over if they are in the export. You choose which field each column goes to.

No duplicates

If a client is already in Avana, the import spots it by email or phone and asks whether to merge.

Your treatments and hours

You add these yourself once, with the right length and price. With a handful of treatments that takes about five minutes.

What does not move over
  • Upcoming appointments (ask Vagaro support for a file)
  • Memberships and packages sold in Vagaro

Menu names in other systems change from time to time. If you cannot find the export, their support team can point you to it.
