Treatwell clients belong to the marketplace, so the move is about inviting them to book with you directly. Here is how salons do it without losing anyone.

Switching from Treatwell to Avana (by Sweeber Technologies) means moving your regulars to your own booking page. Clients from the Treatwell marketplace cannot be exported as a file, so you invite them at their next visit; a client list you keep yourself can be imported. Treatwell charges 35% + VAT on a new marketplace client's first booking (checked October 2026). Avana Business costs £15.99 a month with VAT included and takes no commission.
| At a glance | Avana | Treatwell |

Leaving Treatwell is about moving your regulars to your own booking page while Treatwell keeps running for new faces.
Create your account, add your treatments and hours, and upload any client list you keep yourself, for example from a spreadsheet.
Put your booking link in your Instagram bio and on a QR code at the desk, and give it to regulars at their next visit.
When most bookings come in directly and the last Treatwell bookings have taken place, give notice under your Treatwell agreement.
With Treatwell there is no client file to export from the marketplace. You bring what is yours and invite the rest.
If you keep clients in a spreadsheet or another system, upload that file in Avana's import screen.
You add them once in Avana with the right length and price. With a handful of treatments, about five minutes.
Send them your new link at their next visit, with a QR code at the desk. Most rebook directly from then on.
Avana asks every client for a review after the visit, and they appear on your own page.
Check your Treatwell agreement for the notice period before you plan the last day.
Facials and treatment courses, each with the right length, booked straight into your calendar.
Gel polish, new sets and maintenance, with a deposit that keeps the chair from sitting empty.
Clients pick their own stylist and book themselves, evenings included.
Full sets and maintenance appointments, in a calendar that never double-books.
A calm calendar with reminders, so clients arrive on time.
Clients who came through the Treatwell marketplace cannot simply be exported, so do not count on a file. Any client list you keep yourself can be uploaded in Avana. Everyone else you invite at their next visit.
Yes. There is no link between the two, so block Treatwell bookings in Avana, or put them in your Google Calendar and connect it, so those times close for online booking.
Commission applies to a new client's first booking through the marketplace. When clients book on your own Avana page, there is no commission at all. Once most bookings come in directly, Treatwell matters less.
Business is £15.99 a month, Business Plus £28.99 and Business Max £55.99, all with VAT included. No commission, cancel any month.
